Here are some pics from the Balloon Race that we went to this past weekend. It is a 3 day event with tons of festivities! We actually didn't attend the race itself...that started at 6:30 a.m. on Saturday morning and I believe our family is still sleeping at that time! Anywho, we went to the balloon glow that Friday night. From what I hear, this is the 2nd largest balloon race in the US. I have to admit..it was awesome! They had tons of fair food, a whole kids area, a live band, and of course the balloons! I had never been and we all had a great time. Nat and Abby both loved it when they would count down from 10 to 1 and then all the balloons would light up. I had to include a pic of the band that played after the balloon glow. It was a Led Zeppelin cover band that mimicked EVERYTHING about Led Zeppelin. Check out the Robert Plant look a like! Too funny!!!

Wow! this looks like fun! I remember there used to be big balloon races in S California in the desert when we were ther....they are awesome! I bet the girls loved it!

That looks like it was so much fun. A town South of here has a balloon thing the last weekend in August. I doubt it is as big!
The girls look so cute. They are growing so fast. We are headed to M for the SC festival today!
